The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has approved road development projects for Ward No. 25, covering Punawale, Tathawade, and Wakad. These new roadworks aim to alleviate traffic congestion and improve connectivity in these fast-growing areas. As industrialization and urbanisation continue to increase the population in Pimpri-Chinchwad, the civic body is prioritising infrastructure improvements to support the region's development.
The PCMC Standing Committee has sanctioned plans to construct and repair key roads within Ward 25. Commissioner emphasised the importance of providing quality roads in areas like Punawale to accommodate growth and enhance overall connectivity in the city. The road projects are part of a broader effort to address the needs of the expanding population and ensure smoother transit between important parts of the ward.
