21K Farmers Offer 491 Hectares for Ring Road Efforts Continue for 246 Hectares

In a significant development, the administration has gained momentum in the land acquisition process for the proposed Ring Road Project. A total of 12,166 farmers have provided their consent to offer their land for the project, receiving Rs 491 Crore in compensation. An additional Rs 1,000 crore is set to be distributed by the end of the month. The deadline for consent letters from landowners in the western Ring Road section was August 21st, with 2,455 plots needed from 35 villages across Maval, Mulshi, Haveli, and Bhor talukas. Notably, 12,166 farmers have agreed to provide 4,997.42 hectares of land in the last 21 days, contributing to the project's goal of acquiring 24,690.31 hectares of land. Maval taluka has received the highest compensation, with Rs 218.61 Lakh distributed out of the total Rs 491 Crore

This progress highlights the administration's focused efforts in obtaining land for the Ring Road Project, showcasing a promising step forward in its implementation.
