823 New Projects, Including 257 in Pune, Receive Maharera Registration Ahead of Diwali.

Ahead of the festive season, 823 new real estate projects have recently obtained registration numbers from the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), indicating a proactive response to increased demand during Diwali. These registrations, comprising 645 approvals in October and an additional 178 by November 13, highlight a substantial rise compared to the previous year's figures. Pune stands out with 257 projects securing registration, while other regions, including Konkan (including Mumbai), Nagpur, Nashik, Ch. Sambhajinagar, and Amravati, also contribute to the total. The surge in applications, reaching 1208 projects in October, underscores the need for developers to meticulously adhere to the prescribed documentation and approval processes outlined on the RERA website for a successful registration outcome. Continuous improvement efforts by RERA, including weekly Open House sessions and rigorous verification processes, emphasize a commitment to investor protection, evident in the current low customer complaint rate of less than 4%.
