In Baner Construction Safety Failure by Builder Tragic Death of 9 Year Old Boy
A tragic incident occurred at Baner Ganraj Chowk during the construction by Ketan Veera Builder. A rod fell from the building onto 9 year old Rudra Ketan Raut, who was passing by on his way home from school. The child lost his life, highlighting the urgency for increased safety measures at construction sites.
The rod fell on the child's head, leading to his tragic death during treatment at Jupiter Hospital. A report has been filed against the builder and site engineer at Pune's Chaturshringi Police Station.
Here the question is could this accident have been prevented?
Construction of large buildings is underway in the Baner Balewadi area of Pune, yet builders are not taking necessary precautions at these sites.
A few days ago, laborer Mariappa Mallaiah Venkeri died after slipping into a building duct while working, as no safety equipment was used. A case has been registered against the builder and contractor at Kondhwa Police.
PMC is consistently introducing new rules for builders and construction sites to prevent accidents. Despite these efforts, many people have lost their lives due to the negligence of builders, bringing the issue to light repeatedly.
