Residents in Mundhwa and Keshavnagar areas of Pune have raised concerns over persistently low water pressure even after the recent resolution of a water pipeline breach. Despite repair work completed by the Pune Municipal Corporation's (PMC) water supply department, locals have reported that water supply remains inadequate and at reduced pressure, causing ongoing hardships. The PMC has assured that efforts are being made to restore full water supply capacity by Wednesday and is considering proposals to enhance the water distribution infrastructure in the area.
Despite the Pune Municipal Corporation's repair of a breached water pipeline, residents in Mundhwa and Keshavnagar neighbourhoods continue to experience water supply problems characterised by low pressure. The PMC's assurance of resolving the situation and restoring full capacity supply by Wednesday comes as residents express the need for improved water distribution infrastructure. Local authorities have also highlighted the deployment of tankers to bolster areas with weak water distribution, but residents remain reliant on both PMC and private tankers for their water needs.
