The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) is set to conduct an e-auction of 28 open land parcels in various villages across Mulshi, Haveli, and Shirur talukas on December 3. These properties, ranging from 225 square meters to 3177.71 square meters in size, come with a basic price range of ₹32,49,000 to ₹89,62,000. Among these, 14 parcels are being relisted for e-auction due to a lack of interest from developers, as they are situated in less developed remote villages. The initiative aims to generate revenue through long-term leases of these land parcels, which encompass a diverse range of village names, including Kesnand, Khed Shivapur, Loni Kalbhor, Hinjewadi, Maan, Bhugaon, Pirangut, Nande, Somatane, and Shirur.
The PMRDA is actively pursuing the e-auction as a means of unlocking the potential of these open lands in areas outside the more developed zones adjacent to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). This move represents an opportunity for development and investment in the less explored regions, contributing to the broader growth of the Pune Metropolitan Region.
