Yashasvi Jaiswal Cricket Prodigys Journey from Tent to Million-Dollar Flat

22 Feb 2024

Yashasvi Jaiswal, a rising star in Indian cricket, has made a significant investment by purchasing a 1,100-square-foot apartment in X BKC for Rs 5.38 crore. The registration of this flat, located in wing 3 of a building in Bandra (East), was completed on January 7th, according to official documents. Jaiswal's journey to success is marked by humble beginnings, as he spent his childhood in Mumbai living in a tent at Azad Maidan while his parents pursued opportunities in their village of Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. Despite these challenges, Jaiswal's talent was recognized by his childhood coach, setting him on a path to cricketing stardom.

Last Sunday, the 22-year-old left-handed opener showcased his exceptional skill on the field by scoring a double century, his second in the third Test against England at Rajkot. His outstanding performance, which included a record-breaking 12 sixes, played a pivotal role in India's commanding 434-run victory. Jaiswal's cricketing prowess was evident early on, as he dominated the U-19 World Cup in 2020. His success in youth cricket translated into a lucrative IPL bid of Rs 2.4 crore, and he further proved his mettle by amassing 625 runs in 14 matches for the Rajasthan Royals in 2023.
