MahaRERA, Real Estate Regulation and Development Act, 2016 has put 1800+ projects under expired list. In short these projects are blacklisted by MahaRERA. The department has restricted these builders from selling, advertising or marketing their projects in the state.
The Probable possession date of these projects were back in the year 2017 & 2018. In this list many of the local developers are mentioned. If we talk about a big name in the list, Lavasa Corporation Promoted by HCC is also mentioned.
43% blacklisted projects in the list are from Mumbai (MMR), 29% are from Pune and the remaining 28% projects are from the rest of Maharashtra (RoM).
