I wish to cancel the booking, but the developer is talking about a deduction of 2% to 10% from the total cost of the flat. When I mentioned approaching Maharera, they seemed unconcerned, claiming they have adhered to Maharera's pre-booking rules. The developer is now refusing to refund the full booking amount and insists on deductions. I am confused and need advice. At booking, I paid 9-10 lakh, but instead of a refund, I'm facing excuses and deductions. What should I do? Should I approach Maharera for help?
